  • Use breakfast cereals based on oats, barley and bran
  • Use breads with wholegrains, stone-ground flour, sour dough
  • Reduce the amount of potatoes you eat
  • Enjoy all other types of fruit and vegetables

Hi Pinna. I've successfully lost weight on L&E before (prior to my wedding) and I'm on it again now (post baby). It works brilliantly for me. May I suggest you check which calorie plan you are on? You mentioned you had chosen the 1200 plan and I think you'll find from the stats you provided, that is too low. I'm not sure if you already know this or not, but if you consume TOO LITTLE calories, your body will actually start to store fat, because it "thinks" you are starving it. There's a section on their website that helps you decide which plan to go on, including whether or not you exercise etc. If you have any questions, call them, they are extremely helpful. For example, I am breastfeeding and they gave me suggestions of how to add just a yogurt to my plan to give me that slight boost of calories. Good luck. Michelle
